The MHRO logo was designed with the following meaning:

The traditional Montagnard long house, which in the logo, has no inhabitants, symbolizes the displacement and ethnic cleansing of the Montagnard people from the Central Highlands of Vietnam. The longhouse, which sits in isolation, evokes the sadness at the loss of a traditional way of life and traditional Montagnard culture. The shield represents MHRO's Vision and Commitment to defend, protect, and peacefully struggle for the human rights and self-determination of the Montagnard "Anak Cu Chiang" people.
